I am pleased to announce that Sangamo are now a commercial member of the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA). As Sangamo are a Scottish manufacturer, and have been for over 60 years, we are very proud to be part of SFHA and contribute to our local communities.

SFHA is very relevant to Sangamo, not only because of its Scottish roots, but because many of our products are used in social housing. For example, our heating and lighting controls, are easy to install and can help lower hot water and electricity bills, reduce energy consumption and increase comfort levels for tenants.

Sangamo look forward to working with SFHA and building our partnership in 2011.

July 2010 - Another addition to the Powersaver range: PS Dual Flexi

Sangamo had a 'Hats for Haiti' day on Tuesday 26^th January. All our staff took part in this event to raise money for this very worth cause.

Dec 2009 - Sangamo Prize Winner

Nov 2009 - A toast to our 60^th anniversary

On the 26^th November 2009, Sangamo employees celebrated our company's 60^th anniversary. All of us at Sangamo marked this milestone by having a celebratory lunch and by receiving a special gift - a commemorative glass clock.

The afternoon went very well and a unique addition to the lunch was a cake that one of our employees commissioned - a Sangamo RPTS cake. The cake looked wonderful and tasted delicious!

In this day and age, long service is somewhat of a rarity and Sangamo are extremely proud to have such an experienced and loyal workforce. According to many of the team, this phenomenal long service tradition is due to the 'family culture' of Sangamo……..and of course their wages!

Sangamo would like to thank all our staff for their dedication and hard work that has enabled us to celebrate our 60^th anniversary as a UK manufacturer in 2009.

Within the past year, Sangamo have celebrated two long service award nights and we hope to celebrate many more with our staff in the years to come!
