QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
Hi Have put new batteries in the thermostat, but can't set it,only the light works. Does the receiver need resetting? And does it need to be on M/A setting? Many Thanks M Newbold
Is the display showing its normal expected information, ie, temperature, time, etc ?
Check your receiver. There should be no GREEN led alight. If so press the MANUAL button to turn the green led off.
You can test the system.
Hold the 'TEST' button for 3 secs. The heating symbol & receiver/boiler will alternate on/off every 5 secs for 2 mins.
See how that goes

Is a battery needed when the screen goes blank
Yes, there are 2x AA batteries inside the thermostat (the bit that moves about). Remove the stand & unclip the two halves (you may need a screwdriver to unclip it, there's a slot on the top, push down and towards the back of the unit). The LCD screen will flash, press SET to stop the flashing and clip the thermostat & stand back together.
New batteries should last around a year & there will be a flashing battery icon to indicate when they are getting low. If you don't have any batteries to hand you can use the manual button on the reciever (attached to your boiler) to turn your heating on/off until you can get some.
